Our soft and gentle long sleeve bodysuits are always a favourite for layering under sleeping bags and clothing. They have an envelope neckline and 3 reinforced snaps at the crotch which makes change time easier and also ensures the garment doesn’t ‘ride up’ making it the perfect base layer on little bodies. You’ll also love the fold-over cuffs to enclose tiny hands for extra cosiness.

The extra fine single jersey merino is finer, incredibly soft to touch, super smooth and has a comfortable stretch to it. As with all our merino it is sure to retain it’s beautiful shape. It is beautifully lightweight and packed with all the amazing properties of merino.

We know some babies can get irritated by itchy fabric care labels, so our amazing production team have thoughtfully placed the care label on the side seam away from the neck area. It is a satin label which is super soft and small providing extra comfort for your baby. The beautiful NZ merino, unisex pieces make the perfectgifts for new parents or parents-to-be. They are lovingly packed in an organic cotton organza drawstringbag with tissue paper ready for gifting.

Why do we love merino so much? Known as the ‘miracle fibre’ when it comes to infant sleep, merino wool is a naturally temperature-regulating and moisture wicking fibre. It will help to keep baby warm in winter but also cool in the warmer months without waking up clammy. It has the ability to naturally lock away odours, releasing them when washed or aired – this can mean less washing… yay! Merino is also naturally fire retardant. Of course we recommend keeping your children well away from any heaters and fires (“a metre from the heater!”) but merino is a naturally low fire danger fabric.
